The Kay Mellor Fund

Leeds Playhouse is delighted to announce a special Fund in memory of the trailblazing screenwriter, with full support of her family, friends, and production company Rollem, to ensure Kay’s legacy and passion for supporting new writers is continued at our theatre in her home city.

The Kay Mellor Fund will provide opportunities for new writers with a commitment to developing and championing new voices to write for our stages. The fund will enable Leeds Playhouse to offer bespoke investment, mentoring and training opportunities to support early career artists.

Donate to The Kay Mellor Fund and be a part of Kay’s legacy.

Leeds Playhouse is a registered charity (255460) and every penny you give will go directly to ensure Kay’s legacy and passion for supporting new writers is celebrated and continued at the Playhouse.

A donation of any size helps to support the future of new writing in Kay Mellor’s memory at Leeds Playhouse – help us create the storytellers of the future.
