MAP Charity (Music and Arts Production), based in Leeds, is an organisation and alternative education provision dedicated to supporting young people aged 11-16 who are at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream education.

By offering vital, empowering music and arts qualifications, MAP provides students with an inspiring place to learn—a safe and permanent space where their creativity can flourish.

In addition to their work with young people, MAP Charity cultivates a vibrant community of local creative partners. From mastering engineers to graphic designers, they offer space and support, and in return, these partners provide students with enriched learning experiences, valuable work exposure, and professional development opportunities.

As part of Open Season, there will be an exhibition of the work the young people have been creating over the last year in the City Room. Then, on Level 2, people can learn the basics of DJ’ing and music production and hear the tutors spinning some tracks.

No need to book, just turn up! If you have any questions, please email connnect@leedsplayhouse.org.uk.
