Bing is a loveable pre-schooler who is curious and enthusiastic about the world around him. He is creative in his play, joyful in his discoveries and keen to try again when faced with the unexpected. With the help from his close friends and the gentle support and guidance from Flop, Bing always finds a way to get back on his feet again. Bing likes playing with his favourite toy, Hoppity Voosh, and enjoys dancing, dressing up, painting and storytime. Orange is his favourite colour and he loves carrots!

Flop acts as a gentle guide and supportive grown up figure to Bing. Gentle, wise and always truthful, he provides comfort and reassurance and lends a helping hand when necessary, giving Bing the space to figure things out for himself. Flop encourages Bing to experience and learn from any spills, setbacks or the odd clumbo (a clumsy mistake). He is often heard saying ‘Don’t worry Bing, it’s no big thing’.

Sula is Bing’s best friend and they love spending time together. She is warm-hearted and kind, although sometimes shows her frustration when she disagrees with Bing. Sula loves all things shiny and sparkly, especially her Fairy Hippo toy and her Fairy Wand. Giggly and joyful, her enthusiasm for life is contagious. Sula’s favourite colour is pink and she enjoys making and building things with Bing!

Pando is one of Bing’s closest friends. He loves beatboxing, skateboarding and karate. Pando is good at jumping, climbing and playing games and always wants to spin faster or jump higher! Sometimes he can be very loud and get a bit carried away but he is a kind-hearted friend who will always be there for Bing. His favourite toy is Bullabaloo but he also likes playing with whatever Bing has!

Coco is Bing’s cousin. Being older than Bing and his friends, she likes to think she is in charge and that she knows more than everyone else. She is imaginative, clever and creative with a big personality. Coco enjoys singing, dressing up and twirling around. Her favourite toys are her Rainybow Fairy Mice and her Holly Hula Hoop.

Amma is the supportive grown up to Sula and runs both the park cafe and creche. She brings her playful energy and positivity to everything she does. She is easy going and a lover of life. Her creative games and cheeky assertiveness make her an expert at organising the children and encouraging them to learn. Oh and everyone loves Amma’s homemade carroty bagels!
