Arts at the Arms returns to the Playhouse for its popular Scratch Night, bringing the best of Yorkshire talent to the people.

Arts at the Arms is a performing arts organisation founded in 2019 that supports new writing, emerging creatives and diverse voice.

It brings theatre, music, poetry and comedy to warm audiences in relaxed settings at a diverse range of venues, from some the region’s most prestigious stages, including Leeds Playhouse, Lawrence Batley Theatre, and Cast, to the back rooms of friendly pubs like the Cardigan Arms on Kirkstall Road where it all began.

Now on its tenth edition, and its fourth appearance at the Playhouse, it is presenting original theatre written by Ann Morgan, Cameron Strefford and Sean Webster, comedy from Mick Tickner and Karen Flowerdew, and poetry from Erin Ennis-Emms.
