We are recruiting for some new casual Housekeepers to join us over the festive period at Leeds Playhouse.

As part of the housekeeping team, your role is to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors to the Playhouse by providing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in both the public areas and back of house.

Working closely with the Front of House team as well as the Security Operatives, the housekeepers report to the Building Operations and Facilities Manager with support from the Housekeeping Supervisor.

This role will be responsible for the delivery of the cleaning of all our spaces and looking after set areas on a regular rotational basis, as set out by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

You will be proactive, with a great attention to detail and love interacting with people from a wide cross section of society. Great service and great quality output will be the cornerstone of your daily working life, setting the bar high, whilst achieving a consistent result. You will be proactive and practical in your approach to your work, and ideally have experience in housekeeping. You will be a team player that supports your team and encourages a culture of support, honesty, inclusion and improvement.

Pay for this role is £12.71 per hour on a casual basis, and therefore variable hours depending on the rota. Working pattern will vary, from early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, including occasional Sundays and some unsocial hours.

We will need staff to be available to work over our busy festive period, which runs from November through to January.
