Leeds Playhouse Youth Theatre Wrapped

Join us at Leeds Playhouse for Youth Theatre 2026 Wrapped, a celebration of an exciting season of creativity, collaboration and brilliant performances!

Marking Tom Wright’s first season as Artistic Director of Leeds Playhouse and the launch of our new Playhouse Connect team, this special event brings together all six of our Youth Theatre groups to share their work and celebrate the performances that have shaped our season.

Inspired by a show from this season’s Playhouse programme, each group will create and perform their own 10–15-minute piece, reimagining a favourite moment, exploring a particular theme or putting their own creative spin on the work that has inspired them.

More than just a showcase, Youth Theatre Wrapped is an opportunity for our young people to come together as one community. Each group will have the chance to watch one another’s work, celebrate each other’s achievements and see the breadth of talent across our Youth Theatre. It’s a chance to build connections, recognise their creative progression and lay the foundations for a stronger, more connected Youth Theatre community.

Come along, support our young performers and celebrate everything our Youth Theatre groups have achieved this season.
