Award-winner, Writer-Director-Performer-Producer Rikki Beadle-Blair, who has been awarded an MBE for services to drama, will take you through this dynamic workshop on how to take control of your career and catapult yourself to the next level and beyond…
This half day workshop is suitable for creatives working across all disciplines including actors, directors, writers, theatre makers and producers. All participants are asked to bring a short written statement of one Giant Step they would like to make in their career within the next year. Please also bring a pad and pen and prepare yourself for an epiphany!
Rikki’s award-winning work includes Metrosexuality for Channel 4, Stonewall for the BBC, Noah’s Arc for MTV, and the Sony award-winning Roots of Homophobia for Radio 4. With his company Team Angelica, Rikki has directed 3 feature films in three years, KickOff, Bashment and FIT. He has written over 50 plays including Shalom Baby, Familyman, Gutted and TwothousandandSex and directed extensively for theatre. His latest screenplay His long list of mentees includes Lynette Linton, Somalia Seaton, Alexis Gregory, Waleed Akhtar & Tom Wright.
