A fun, inclusive and engaging piano-based open mic event - just pop in and play.

Join Leeds International Piano Competition on Friday 26 June from 5-7pm for a fun, inclusive and engaging piano-based open mic event. Everyone is welcome to pop in and play in front of a friendly audience.

Participants can either play on their own or perform with someone else (e.g. a singer and an accompanist). Solo performers, groups and people who just want to listen to great music are welcome.

This event is part of Open Season – the Playhouse’s annual festival of community creativity. The theme for 2026 is Happy Birthday, Leeds! commemorating the milestone 400th anniversary of our hometown receiving its royal charter and becoming a city.
