Unpacking the key relationship between director and designer - and how to make a partnership work successfully.

This masterclass, led by our Associate Artistic Director Jamie Sophie Fletcher, will unpack the key relationship between director and designer and investigate what makes a successful partnership.

• How can you find the right creative collaborators for your work and/or serve other people’s artistic vision?
• How can you communicate your ideas clearly to others and genuinely collaborate while not being afraid to disagree/push back when needed?

Jamie will draw on her experiences of working with a designer on Macbeth and Hedwig and The Angry Inch so participants will gain an insight into the process of working on both a play and a musical.
