Sound Designers and Composers are responsible for the aural storytelling within a theatre production.

A one-day, practical exploration of the role and process of a Sound Designer and Composer from the first time reading a script through to creating the aural world of a finished production. This day will include time spent in a theatre space exploring the sound design and programming for Through It All Together.

This day will be led by Yorkshire-based Sound Designer and Composer Annie May Fletcher. Annie’s work at Leeds Playhouse has included Hedwig and the Angry Inch, A Passionate Woman and Decades, and she is currently working on Through It All Together. Find out more here.

This is because Leeds Playhouse is committed to nurturing our local ecology, so even if you are happy to commute from further afield, you are not eligible to apply for this course.
