A practical one-day intensive exploring the role of Puppetry Design and Direction within the creation of a theatre production.
The day will be led by Rachael Canning. Rachael is an award-winning Set, Costume and Puppetry Designer/Director for theatre, who has worked extensively throughout the UK including at The Citizen’s Theatre, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, the Royal Opera House, Leeds Playhouse, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and on the West End. Work at Leeds Playhouse includes Mr Snow, Into the Woods and Oliver Twist. Find out more here.
This intensive is for people interested in Puppetry Design & Direction. There are a maximum of 16 places available on this course.

To apply, you must be over 18 years of age and you must be locally rooted to West Yorkshire and the Leeds City Region. This is because Leeds Playhouse is committed to nurturing our local ecology, so even if you are happy to commute from further afield, you are not eligible to apply for this course.
