A practical one-day intensive exploring the role of Lighting Design within the creation of a theatre production.
This intensive is led by Lighting Designer Jai Morjaria. Jai is a prolific and highly respected Lighting Designer, having worked on numerous productions across a range of scales from Fringe through to West End. He designed the lighting for the recent Leeds Playhouse production of Animal Farm. Find out more here.
This intensive is for people interested in a career in Lighting Design, in the role of the Lighting Designer and how light can be used to support and tell stories on stage.
There are a maximum of 18 places available on this course.

To apply, you must be over 18 years of age and you must be locally rooted to West Yorkshire and the Leeds City Region. This is because Leeds Playhouse is committed to nurturing our local ecology, so even if you are happy to commute from further afield, you are not eligible to apply for this course.
