Whether you've participated in Youth Theatre before or you're brand new to Leeds Playhouse, come along to Play in a Week, a week-long course for ages 8-14 that will culminate in a performance.

Work with Leeds Playhouse’s Youth Theatre Artists to create a play fit for the stage! A fun-packed week where you’ll develop performance skills, make new friends, play drama games, explore your creativity, and perform your play at the end of the week, all in the Leeds Playhouse rehearsal spaces.

During the week, participants will learn skills and techniques in areas such as: 

• Voice
• Movement
• Devising 
• Text analysis
• Improvisation

No previous experience necessary!
