Are you a blind or visually impaired, early career artist based in Yorkshire? Are you looking for the opportunity to develop as an artist, gain insight into the running of an arts organisation and act as an agent for change delivering positive change for blind and partially sighted people within the theatre industry?

Leeds Playhouse is delighted to be working with the Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) and RNIB to provide a 9-month-long internship at the theatre as part of TPT’s Get Set Progress Internship Programme.

The Theatre Intern will undertake artistic and organisational development opportunities working on shows, and with our Playhouse Connect and Audiences teams. The Theatre Intern will also join a co-hort of interns on TPT’s Work With Me Employment Programme where they will gain bespoke employment support, guidance and advice.

This role is full time, based on 35 paid hours per week. This is a fixed term, 9-month contract. Pay for this role is £15,750 for the 9 months, equivalent to £21,000 per annum.
